Pythagoras taught greedy people with just a special cup

Not only famous in the field of mathematics, Pythagoras was also a great thinker with lessons to teach people, typically the story of the cup below.

Anyone who has ever gone to school knows the famous mathematician Pythagoras. He is considered the "father of arithmetic" and was the first person to successfully prove that the sum of the three angles of a triangle is 180°, most famous for the mathematical theorem named after him. (Pythagoras theorem: in a right triangle, the sum of the squares of the two sides is equal to the square of the hypotenuse).

But not only was he talented in mathematics, he was also a brilliant thinker and philosopher with lessons to teach his students and the Greek people. Most notably, we must mention the story of the strange cup that Pythagoras created, to teach greedy people when drinking wine, always pour the cup to the brim instead of taking just enough.

This cup has a border running around it, which is considered a landmark. If you pour enough water at or below the border, there is no problem. If someone is greedy and pours the cup all the way to the top, all the liquid in the cup will flow out and there will be nothing left. The reason for this strange thing is because the cup is designed very specially, perhaps only a mathematical mind can think of it.

The special design and working mechanism of the cup was invented by Pythagoras.
