D-Ware is currently the only "commercial" quantum computing company in the world with an investment of more than USD 20 million. Their Orion system can perform 64,000 calculations at the same time thanks to a new technique that D-Ware will introduce at Mountain View, California (US) Computer History Museum on February 13 and in Vancouver ( Canada) two days later.

Experts believe that quantum cryptography will make computer security "trivial" today. Each bit or quantum qubit in the system corresponds to 0 and 1. Orion has only 16 qubits but the system with hundreds of qubits will be able to handle extremely large input data.

This event promises to change the direction of the quantum computing world and attract the attention of many organizations about quantum in the world. Professor Andrew Steane at Oxford University (UK) is skeptical about the feasibility of Orion while others believe in D-Ware's new method.
