Robot will write a novel

This software is called Quill from Narrative Science. It automatically converts structured data into an extremely fast English story. When reading this story, it is difficult to recognize the difference from a story written by a writer.
'Quill is a synthesis of data analysis, an artificial intelligence and editorial ability' - Kris Hammond, principal technology executive at Narrative Science. Possessing the ability to describe, predict and give advice based on basic data, Quill's artificial intelligence is 'a natural language machine'.
Like many other software, Quill is made up of many arithmetic analyzes. Their weapon is the ability to identify situations and take an approach to create news items.
Currently Quill has only written financial colors, merely informative, not entertaining.
'The downside of this technology is that Quill can only write when there is data,' says Hammond.
So are sports reporters and news reporters feeling threatened by this software?
'You shouldn't worry about this technology, because it's designed to be written in space, where no one is writing.'
This software is currently used by NewNovelist. They are trying to open writing classes and even give advice to organize a novel by section, with quotes from famous works. Is it a lie to deceive readers?
Will we get the bestsellers written by a writer - robots?
'This software does not write in the novel, so it cannot be considered to deceive readers,' said Andrew Philpott, NewNovelist production manager.
John Lee, associate professor of language and translation at City University, who is also developing a software to help users write poetry, said: 'Most automated writing software imitates human-made products. The software will automatically make use of the word and sentence structure used in the Sugar Poetry Collection to suggest you the next word '.
However, imitating a short stanza is easier than writing a novel. In order to write novels, the software must be able to use words, so that the situations of knots develop and understand the character.
Philpott believes that robots are hard to write novels that sell well.
Lee said that robots are difficult to create a paragraph with both creative content and attractive words.
The role of these robots is only to help, not to replace writers and reporters.
