Running barefoot is safe

A study by evolutionary biologists at Harvard University, US, has confirmed that barefoot runners will be more comfortable and safe than those who often wear expensive shoes.

This study was conducted on 64 volunteers in the US and Kenya (Africa). By analyzing slow motion images when they run, the scientists realized that people wearing sports shoes have more injuries than those who run on bare feet or run on simple, low-heeled shoes. .

The reason is that when running barefoot, feet contacting the soil mainly in the toes and feet, this not only helps to reduce most collisions but also takes advantage of the energy stored in the ankle and depression in the soles of the feet better. On the contrary, when running on many cushioned shoes, most of us always touch the heel first. This is contrary to the laws of natural evolution of humans, which shock the joints, causing a lot of damage to the heel, causing these injuries to tend to repeat about 600 times / km.

This important finding not only affirmed that running barefoot benefits more than harm but also helps redesign the type of sports shoes more suitable for human health.
