This allows people to develop healthier foods. For example, scientists can know how fast glucose is absorbed into the blood to find ways to treat diabetes.

Dr. Peter Ellis, a biochemist at " King's College " also said that artificial stomach is an important tool, which will allow researchers to understand the digestive process that takes place in the stomach.

However, some other scientists recommend that "stomach is a very complicated organ. It is not possible to create a model that does all of its functions."
