Small size snacks that help fight fat
According to a recent study by Cornell University in the United States, small-size snacks make you feel full faster than similar-sized items but larger in size.
Researchers Ellen van Kleef, Mitsuru Shimizu and Brian Wansink have experimented with a group of people to test that small-size snacks have a faster feeling than larger ones of the same type. .

The participants were divided into two groups and received different diets. The first group ate chocolate pieces of 100g, pieces of 100g apple pie and 80g fries - equivalent to 1370 calories with a larger size than usual.
The other group received food with a small size of chocolate 10g, 40g apple pie and 10g potato chips - equivalent to 195 calories. The two groups can use the time to eat as long as they like.
The team members have all been investigated to make sure the two groups have the same level of popularity, familiar with the above dishes. They were also asked to assess their level of appetite prior to the study and 15 minutes after the experiment ended.
Surprising results showed that the large size eating group absorbed more than the remaining 77% of the junk food equivalent to 103 calories but they did not feel fuller than the small size group.
Research reflects the importance of size with junk food. Large-size snacks will encourage us to eat more, but there is no more satiety than a smaller amount of food. Small snacks provide a feeling of fullness and are able to curb hunger better.
