h5n8 influenza virus

ANSA news agency of Italy on 17/12 said the strain of H5N8 high-risk bird flu has been confirmed to have appeared at a turkey farm in the North of this country.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Food Industry of Korea has confirmed that the bird flu virus detected at a duck farm is a highly pathogenic strain of H5N8.
