The Earth may be confused because the Sun wakes up

US scientists recently said the Sun is entering the most active phase in the past 11 years. The unusually strong radiation emitted by the sun is heading towards the Earth and can strongly affect the weather on our planet.

The latest study, expected to be published in the journal Space Weather, said the Sun is about to end its dormant period during its 11-year operation cycle. Since the beginning of this year, a series of massive solar storms is known as the Sunspot and intense solar radiation has been recorded.

The waking Sun will have a strong impact on the weather on Earth in the coming years.

The sun's black rays create high-energy particles known as the solar wind . The solar wind 'blows' to Earth and electromagnetic interaction with the outer layer of the atmosphere causes weather disturbances.

Scientists say the Sun often undergoes the so-called 'maximum' and 'minimum' activity periods in its 11-year weather cycle. Scientists expect the current 'maximum' phase to reach a peak in 2013 and may cause many unusual weather events on Earth.
