Tomb of 25,000 years old in Russia

Archaeologists discovered that many tombs in Russia were built from exactly stacked stones.

According to Ancient Origins, Caucasus mountains near the cities of Tzelentzchik, Russia's Touapse, Novorossiysk and Sochi have about 3,000 relics of megalithic tombs . These are stone tombs dating from 10,000 to 25,000 years ago.

Stone tombs are located on both sides of the mountain range west of the Caucasus, covering an area of ​​12,000 square kilometers of Russia and Abkhazia. They represent unique architecture from prehistoric times, including many correctly stacked stones.

One of the most interesting megaliths is the three stone tombs that line the hill in the Krasnodar region near Gelendzhik, Russia.

The Caucasian dolmens have a rectangular structure. The front door is carved with a circular hole. In front of the grave is a large yard, which can be used to hold ceremonies. The decoration on the grave is not large, mainly zigzag lines, triangles and concentric circles. Many graves are in a state of destruction and heavy damage due to unprotected.

In the archaeological area, scientists discovered many Bronze and Iron Age ceramics and human remains, bronze tools, precious gold, silver and semi-precious jewelry.

Caucasian dolmens have many similarities with other megalithic structures in Europe and Asia such as the Iberian peninsula, France, England, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Israel, India.
