Tornadoes caused heavy damage in the United States, 17 people were killed

The latest update on April 28 showed that at least 17 people were killed in tornadoes swept across many central and southern states in the last weekend. Among them, 15 victims are from the Arkansas state and the other two live in Oklahoma state.

Violent tornadoes also cause great damage to facilities, damage many buildings and destroy some buildings. The cyclone occurred in many states including Arkansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Kansas.

Local media showed images at the scene showing that the scene in many places was destroyed, many vehicles and buildings were badly damaged.

The National Weather Service said it is likely that tornadoes, thunder and strong winds will continue to appear in the state of Arkansas. Officials in the western and eastern states have issued orders to closely monitor the risk of tornadoes.

Meanwhile, in Bangladesh, a storm on April 28 hit the northern area bordering India, killing at least nine people and injuring 20 others. Local authorities said the storm destroyed many cultivated areas and houses, leaving about 1,000 people homeless.

On April 27, eight people were killed in a fire in a rehabilitation center in the Altai region of Russia. The authorities' statement said the intense fire had burned down the entire building and injured six others. The cause of the fire is being clarified.

Every year, in Russia, large fires occur, causing many deaths. Most recently, in September last year, a fire in a mental hospital in the northwest of the country claimed the lives of 37 people.
