Although Windows Vista is only officially available early next year, Microsoft has begun to have hardware compatibility preparations for its darling.

Starting next month, some PCs will start with a slogan of 'Windows Vista capable' (Running Windows Vista well)

Microsoft is actively working with all members and hardware partners to come up with 'branded' Windows Vista computers.

To get this Logo and slogan printed on the product, the entire computer has to undergo extremely rigorous tests and designs. Part of this campaign is support for customers to understand which hardware runs best with Windows Vista, once it is born.

The specific configuration for this computer is unknown, but through preliminary disclosures, a computer that wants to run Windows Vista needs at least 512 MB of RAM, the latest motherboard and CPU supporting DirectX 9c.

Of course, to achieve the so-called 'Capable' as Microsoft says there are many types of computers suitable for each price. Microsoft said that the minimum required configuration is only suitable for running Windows Home Basic, however, they still have not announced what the minimum configuration is. All information is only known when the campaign starts.
