Avocado is a nutritious dish and has a creamy texture, so it is very flexible when used. You can eat avocado every day to supplement fiber, vitamins, minerals such as vitamins B, C, E, K, potassium, copper.

Each avocado is made up of about 73% water, 15% fat, 8.5% carbohydrates (mostly fiber) and 2% protein. Despite its relatively high fat content, avocado consumption is associated with a reduced risk of cardiovascular disease. Avocados also help with weight loss, because eating avocados helps you feel full and satisfied after a meal.

There are so many creative and delicious ways to use avocados. Here are some of the 'potentials' of avocados you probably never thought of.

1. Substitute for fat when making baked goods

You can use avocado to replace oil or butter (normal) when making baked goods. The dish pulled out of the oven retains its flavor and does not burn. But remember to mash the avocado very finely for ease of use.

2. Salad dressing

Avocados are a familiar ingredient in salads, as fat helps your body absorb all the vitamins and minerals from fresh vegetables. But you can also use avocado as a salad dressing. The recipe is as simple as this: chopped avocado, olive oil, water, lemon juice or vinegar (so the sauce doesn't turn brown), garlic, coriander, spice farm, greek yogurt. Ingredients of your choice, put all in a blender and you're done.

3. Substitute for cream in mousse or pudding

You can use butter instead of cream in mousse or pudding recipes and still have the same smooth, creamy texture as usual. Even butter fat is good for the body, unlike regular ice cream.

4. Make food dishes

Cut an avocado in half, remove the pit, and stuff it with whatever you like. By doing so, you will both eat the food you want, while getting more fat from the avocado 'plate'. In Vietnam, we don't like grilled cheese or eggs in avocado, but you can try it.

5. Make icing on the cake

Butter has a flexible texture, goes well with many flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, buttercream. If you like the taste of cocoa, chances are that the avocado will turn green after blending. When using avocado frosting, you should squeeze in some citrus juice to prevent it from turning dark.

6. Smoothies

Avocado is a great addition to smoothies because it creates a thick and creamy texture that helps keep the other ingredients together. Not to mention the fiber and fat in avocados also help the body absorb nutrients better. The mixture of avocado, banana, and blueberry is a great drink for your skin.

7. Food wrap

You can see this application most clearly in Japanese sushi. In addition to eating directly, avocados can be used as a wrapper for food rolls and then put in an oven at 175 degrees for 3-5 hours.

8. Gelato

The main ingredient of gelato is not cream, but whole milk, even skimmed milk, without the full cream content. Regular ice cream is usually stored at a temperature of about minus 25 degrees Celsius, while gelato is kept at minus 14 degrees Celsius, so when eating, there is no feeling of cold, but a cool taste that gradually melts and softens. Gelato is considered a healthy food because of its ingredients of natural origin, low fat content and warmer temperature than ice cream. Avocado gelato offers a cool green color and mild flavor. You can enjoy the pure butter flavor or add vanilla, chocolate, buttercream… (like how to make frosting on a cake).

10. Frying

If you want to try new recipes but don't want to go too far, try slicing an avocado, seasoning it with a pinch of salt, and frying it. You should eat with pillow bread to not get sick.
