40 works received the 2005 VIFOTEC award

This result was announced by the Organizing Committee of Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation Award (VIFOTEC) on the afternoon of April 6 in Hanoi.

The winning projects are selected from 180 projects throughout the country submitted to the competition. The total value of prizes is VND 772 million.

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) decided to award the award for the best work awarded the 2005 VIFOTEC award of the author of the Z112 Factory, General Department of Defense Industry (Ministry of Defense). Vinacafe Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company received the WIPO-TROPHY Award for Best Business in 2005 in applying intellectual property systems to production and business.

For the work ' Develop quantitative process of hepatitis C virus by real-time RT-PCR technique for the research and treatment of hepatitis C ', Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Huynh Thuy Duong (University of Science) Natural studies, VNU-HCM, was awarded the WIPO award for the best female author. And student Dang Thuy Chi (Hanoi University of Transport) was awarded by WIPO for the best young creator in 2005.
