In contrast, Intel claims processing devices for new desktops, mobile devices and servers based on the new Core Microarchitecture, Merom, Conroe and Woodcrest, will perform 20% better than with AMD products.

Although not comparing every single point, Chuck Moore asserted right now that AMD's processing equipment was able to overcome the competition. " Just by comparing performance and electricity consumption, people have seen a lot of big differences ," Moore said.
