AOL has released a beta version of the comprehensive security service package, Total Care, which it announced in early June.

AOL has released a beta version of the comprehensive security service package, Total Care, which it announced in early June.

Total Care is a true package because it integrates many different feature packs - a form similar to existing services on the market by Microsoft (OneCare), Symantec (Norton 360) and McAfee (Falcon ) provided.

According to AOL spokesman, Andrew Weinstein, Total Care will include a firewall; antivirus software; antispyware software (provided by McAfee); local backup and recovery tool (application of Farstone Technology technology); Test and optimization features (by Iolo Technologies).

Also according to Andrew Weinstein, Total Care's final version, expected to be completed this year, will be equipped with online backup, anti-phishing capabilities and anti-identity theft.

Total Care will be AOL's response to Microsoft's OneCare service, currently sold by the world's largest software company for $ 49.95.
