Apple updates the Boot Camp for dual-core Duo

One of the changes in Boot Camp 1.1.1 that Apple introduced last week is to support Intel's Core 2 Duo dual-core processor, creating the latest iMacs.

Apple Computer has just updated the new version of the Boot Camp application program last Friday. This update allows Mac users to run OS X and Windows XP simultaneously on the same machine.

There are also some additional components and enhancements such as pre-defined partition size in Windows XP, support for iSight video cameras for iMac, MacBook and MacBook Pro computers, support for enhanced 'style' keys. Although Apple currently only releases Boot Camp in beta, Cuperlino, a Californian company, will adopt the technology in the next version of Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard). It is expected that this new version will be released early next year.
