The program is being implemented by the Project Management Unit 'Pro-poor Partnership in Agriculture and Forestry Development (3PAD)' from March to November. The three Tay villages of Coc Toc, Bo Lu and Pac Ngoi of Nam Mau commune were chosen as the project sites.
Through local schools, the project will provide the necessary infrastructure for safe disposal of waste and the sale or disposal of waste in Ba Be district.
According to Allaster Cox, the Australian ambassador to Vietnam, the women involved in the project have access to opportunities to generate additional income, through the sale of recyclable waste and they are trained in some business skills. small business.
"This project also helps highlight the concepts of Making the world cleaner in Vietnam's famous and beautiful Ba Be National Park , " said Allaster Cox.
Mr. Hoang Van Giap, Director of 3PAD Project Management Board hopes that this project model will be replicated to other villages and areas in Ba Be National Park and Bac Kan Province.
Ba Be National Park has been recognized as a Nature Reserve since 1977 and is included in the list of 12 priority areas for biodiversity conservation in Vietnam. A system of rivers and streams connects the lake of the garden with the primeval forest currently covering the surrounding limestone mountains.
