Babies do not have a mouth in Ukraine

A girl without a mouth became a reluctant patient of a hospital in the town of Korosten, Urkaina, when a baby was found on the doorstep of this medical facility.

Police are trying to find her mother, but recently, the girl who wrote to the agency announced leaving her because of financial difficulties.

Doctors diagnose girls with birth defects during facial bone development, upper and lower jaw bone reduction. In other words, the baby's jaw bones are still sticking together because they are not growing.

Doctors said it is possible to overcome this natural flaw, although it will take a lot of time and cost. They plan to perform several surgeries to create dentures, promising extremely complex and expensive because it is carried out on a newborn baby girl.

In the meantime, they tried to " open " the baby's mouth by creating a channel between the upper and lower jaws. Now, it is possible to feed babies with liquid through a tube. The doctor called her Lisa . Although she could not cry due to her physical defects, she still caught everyone's attention when she started to brush quickly on the bed.

Such cases are rare in medicine, although this is not the first time doctors have been exposed to strange cases. The most difficult thing for them was in 2002, in England, when a woman gave birth to a girl who was not present. The girl named Juliana lacks 40% of the facial bones. Baby has no upper jaw, no cheekbones and no eye sockets. Doctors had to feed the baby directly through the stomach. This unlucky child has undergone 14 surgeries in just 2 years. Her parents still affirmed their determination to fight for their daughter's face.
