A group of mining workers in Ky Thuong and Ky Anh communes (Ha Tinh) accidentally discovered a fossil mountain crab. Parts of this 'mountain crab' are still intact.

Mr. Hoang The Anh (residing in Ha Tinh City) - the owner of the fossil said that fossil crabs were discovered around May 2010 in Ky Thuong commune. The area where fossil crabs appear is a region rich in quartz minerals.
