Discover new comets
Astronomers have discovered a new comet, named C / 2011 L4 (PANSTARRS). This star will approach our Earth in 2013.
Astronomers have discovered a new comet, named C / 2011 L4 (PANSTARRS). This star will approach our Earth in 2013.
Comet C / 2001 L4 is shown on the telescope screen.
The new comet was discovered on the night of the 5th and the morning of June 6, thanks to the Hawaii Pan-STARRS 1 telescope, a telescope designed specifically to detect dangerous planets.
The comet said the comet will move about 30 million miles (50 million km) from the sun around February or March 2013. This distance is equal to the distance from it to Mercury.
Astronomers predict that C / 2001 L4 is more likely to be formed from the Oort cloud, an aura of icy planet outside the solar system .
Currently, C / 2011 L4 has surpassed Jupiter's orbit and is about 700 million miles (1.2 billion km) from the sun. Its image is very fuzzy, only telescopes combine electronic detectors of experts to detect.
During the two-year period near Earth (from 2011 to 2013), it is expected that humans can see comet C / 2011 L4 (PANSTARRS) in the West as soon as the Sun goes down (but also very difficult) .
Dr Richard Wainscoat from the University of Hawaii (USA) said: ' Comet movement trajectory has a Parabolic form, meaning that it will advance to the first Sun and not return to the old path .'
The StarRS 1 Pan-telescope has found this comet as it scans through dangerous asteroids that affect Earth. However, the researchers say this comet is completely safe for our Earth.

Over the next few months, researchers will continue to understand the comet's process and hope to have good information about its glow.
