First organized Science Communication Week

Science communication week is taking place in Hanoi, to provide information to better understand the special importance of science and technology.

This is the first year that the Ministry of Science and Technology organized a communication week to introduce new and typical elements in scientific activities, widely promote scientific achievements in the country and the world, to promote rapid application of technical advances in production and life.

The week held on September 26 and 27 aims to strengthen the propaganda, bringing information to all individuals to understand the special importance of science in general and science communication in particular. This activity helps raise awareness and responsibilities of managers, experts, journalists, lecturers and students in the field of science communication.

Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Quan said that in the past, the press has continuously reported on scientific and technological achievements; contribute significantly to the mechanism and policies of science and technology to the public as well as tools and forums connecting scientists and managers with people.
