Gartner warned against using Windows Vista soon

According to the US survey firm, businesses should not install Microsoft's new generation operating system until at least 2008. The reason is that most of the security improvements in this version are actually available as software. 3rd party addition in Windows XP.

Gartner's report entitled '10 Reasons for and Shouldn't Be Interested in Microsoft Windows Vista ' states that this version of the operating system only gives enterprise PC users the broad improvements, not the totally new . Therefore, analysts believe that Vista should only be deployed (will be released in 2006) on new computers and after two years of exploration.

According to Gartner, Microsoft's Internet Explorer 7 will have better security to prevent customers from using Firefox. The new operating system will also have a highly-rated personal firewall, but Gartner still recommends that laptop users should have at least one private firewall to protect the device.

In the report above, Gartner also mentioned the promise of improved search functionality in Vista was actually provided by other companies like Google.
