To protect Gmail users, Google has added a virus scanning feature to the Gmail service to complement the current virus-blocking feature that prevents unsafe attachments.

With this new feature, Gmail will automatically scan all attachments that senders and recipients often ask questions and transfer separately to this new function.
Gmail will try to remove viruses from infected attachments. Therefore, users can access and open the attached information without worrying about virus or otherwise, users will not have to download attachments. In addition, Gmail also prevents users from sending emails with infected attachments.
Google has notified users of this new feature on the site, where the company announces new Gmail features.
