Google provides mobile content search services

Google is developing a new mobile search service, which allows users to find and buy ringtones, games, and other mobile content.

This is a new effort of the company to go deeper into the mobile content market - which is attracting a lot of young people.

Under the plan, Google will provide mobile users a new version of the web search engine. In addition, the company will coordinate with content providers to allow users to download mobile services as well.

Google search market share is returning to Microsoft

According to Internet provider comScore, in June, the total number of search queries in the United States reached 8 billion, up 6% from May and 26% over the same period last year. However, Google's market share is losing, while Microsoft has increased.

Google's market share in the US market dropped from 50.7% in May, to 49.5% in June. Yahoo dropped from 26.4% to 25.1%. Ask remains at 5%. While Microsoft increased from 10.3% to 13.2%, largely thanks to the Live Search Club - the program just released by Microsoft in late May.

Exploding the search engine war

Thus, in a short time, Microsoft's new search engine has partly shown pressure on Google when making more relevant search results.

Live Search features tabbed browsing, allowing users to open some search boxes in a single window. In addition, there are a few other features such as:

- A search slider pre-displays data in various forms, such as an Internet address of a website, or a text excerpt. This slider can be adjusted to display more or less information.

- A "smart scroll" feature that displays all the search results at once rather than having to separate multiple pages.

- You can view photos in more ways, for example in the form of thumbnails or full-size images without having to move from the search page.

- Users can also save search parameters to form their marcro, so that later they can perform similar searches. Microsoft says users can also publish these macros, so others can use them.
