ICT development in the North Central region

Vietnam Informatics Association said that in two days of August 10 and 11, in Thanh Hoa, there will be the 2006 Information-Communication Technology Development Cooperation Conference (ICT).

At the workshop, IT experts will discuss the ICT situation of 3 provinces of Thanh Hoa - Nghe An - Ha Tinh; ICT-oriented application and development in the 2006-2010 period of these three provinces; experiences in cooperation and coordination of ICT application for socio-economic development of key economic regions throughout the country.

Besides the Seminar are ICT Exhibition activities; talk on the cooperation initiative of Thanh Hoa - Nghe An - Ha Tinh development cooperation; discussion between the Provincial Department of Post and Telecommunications with the Ministry of Post and Telematics in order to orient the development and improve the capacity of state management on post and telecommunications and IT in localities.

The event was jointly organized by the National Steering Committee for Information Technology, Ministry of Posts and Telematics, Ministry of Science and Technology, Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Computer Association.
