Astronauts on the International Space Station (ISS) recently had to evacuate urgently, after a piece of cylindrical garbage was found approaching near the station.

On June 28, six astronauts working on the International Space Station (ISS) were evacuated to two Russian Soyuz spacecraft after radar detected a piece of cosmic trash approaching the ISS station. Fortunately, this piece of trash flies through the ISS station at a distance of 250m and does not cause any damage.

After the cosmic trash had passed and it was no longer possible to endanger the ISS, astronauts returned to normal work. Evacuation to the spacecraft compartments is a mandatory requirement for astronauts when the ISS station is able to face danger.

The fact that space junk pieces are at risk of colliding with international space stations and satellites in Earth orbit have been warned in a US Department of Defense report last year.If these collisions occur, the ISS and the satellites will be severely damaged .

In response to increasing cosmic garbage, earlier this year, the Japanese space exploration agency (JAXA) announced a plan to collect debris from the destruction of satellites and spacecraft. out of date.

Japanese scientists plan to launch a metal net a few kilometers wide, functioning as a magnet, to orbit Earth. This net is responsible for collecting floating debris in the universe.

After collecting enough waste according to the design, this net will carry the pieces of trash into the Earth's atmosphere and burn completely.
