The e-Book's screen uses organic light-emitting diode (OLED) technology instead of the current popular liquid crystal plate. Unlike LCD monitors, OLED technology allows for no screen frames, and in particular, consumes less power.
The e-Book keyboard will also be made of OLED panels, just like LG's Chocolate phone. This model is running for the Red Dot Award for best design this year. (Red Dot Award with iF Award and IDEA Award are 3 most prestigious awards in the world for industrial designers).
