According to the Central Hydrometeorological Center , 10am on July 9, Typhoon Linfa has winds of 90-120 km / h of moat in the waters off Guangdong Province (China).

During the day, the storm moved westward, speed 15-20 km / h. In the evening, the storm is on the east coast of Hong Kong , the strongest wind in the area near the center reaches level 9 (75-90 km / h), level 10-11.

On July 10, the storm moved almost westward, along the coast of Guangdong province and weakened into a tropical depression.

Le Thanh Hai, deputy general director of the National Hydrometeorological Center, said that Typhoon Linfa, after entering China, is expected to weaken into low pressure. However, with the continuous change of storms and increasing levels, it is not possible to confirm whether the storm will affect Vietnam .

" Meteorological stations are closely monitoring the path and evolution of the storm," Hai said.

Due to the influence of the storm circulation, currently the North Sea in the East Sea has strong winds of level 6-8 , the area near the center of storm level 9-11, the sea waves are 4-6 m high.

Besides, off the eastern Philippines , 2 storms of Chan Hom and Nangka are very active. As expected, Chan Hom will target China , while Nangka will head to the Japanese waters.
