Matsushita is a manufacturer of electronic devices known for Panasonic brands and is also one of the world's largest consumer electronics manufacturers.
Measuring 2.4 x 1.4m and weighing 215kg, Matsushita's 103-inch plasma TV screen is also large, a double bed mattress and weighs the equivalent of a large piano.
The manufacturer has not yet announced the price you expect for this latest product.
Matsushita plasma TV models are only 1-inch better than Samsung's similar models. However, Samsung has not yet released a 102-inch plasma TV product to the commercial market.
Matsushita also said it has begun accepting orders for 103-inch plasma TV screens in the US market. The manufacturer expects to sell about 5,000 products of this type every year.
