According to the announcement of the Center for Nature Education (ENV) on Friday, the unit, after receiving the volunteers' report, reported to the Quang Binh Police Department of the Police Department of the case of a rare langur. Trapped and sold to a resident.

Force checking function and identify it as Ha Tinh black langur. It is now being transferred to the Research and Rescue Center, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.

Ha Tinh black langur (Trachypithecus hatinhensis) belongs to a group of endangered, rare and precious wild animals, which are strictly forbidden to exploit and use for commercial purposes. Although it is named Ha Tinh langur, they are not distributed in Ha Tinh but are mainly found in limestone mountains in Quang Binh province. A recent survey also found them in Quang Tri.

The langurs live in groups of 2 to 15 but sometimes up to 30. They are called 'con cung' by ethnic minorities of Van Kieu (in Quang Binh and Quang Tri) - meaning 'long-tailed black monkeys that live in caves'.
