Quickly download videos from YouTube

There are many programs that support downloading video clip files on YouTube, however, UltraGet Video Downloader (UVD) is a free program with a simple, easy to use interface.

How to use UltraGet Video Downloader

Edit settings in Options of UltraGet Video Downloader.

After downloading and installing, you activate UVD. UVD interface is quite open so you will easily recognize the 3 main steps that UVD will take to download FLV files (Flash for Video):

- Enter the videoclip link address on youtube: Click the "Import Video" button, a new window will appear to enter the video clip link. In this window, you can enter multiple links and sort their order. Delete or create a link to download.

- Download video clips: After clicking OK, the program will automatically download video clips in the arranged order. The program will connect to YouTube server, check the path and detect the correct path of the .flv file. During download, if you want to change or stop downloading, select "Stop Downloading".

- Watch video clips with FLV Video Player built into UltraGet Video Downloader by ticking the downloaded file completely and clicking the "Play" icon on the right frame. If you want to view flv files with Windows Media Player, you only need to download the latest codecs like the K-Lite Codec pack.

To set the default folder containing video clips when they are downloaded, select Edit - Options . on the menu bar. Then, go to (Browse) the path of the selected folder in the "Set Video Output Folder" section. The YouTube Account section is for you to enter your account on YouTube and the number of attempts to connect to the YouTube server.

All done, you only need to download funny clips or new music video clips from YouTube to your computer and watch offline instead of having to connect online.
