The future world will not have CD or DVD

US tech billionaire Bill Gates predicts that the future will be entirely dependent on digital information transmitted through the Internet, rather than optical storage tools or hard drives.

"High-resolution DVD formats will be the last resort for storing data and audiovisual content," said Microsoft's chief architect.
