The 58-year-old photographer said he was stunned when he realized that his photograph could be one of the clearest evidence of the existence of a mysterious creature.

Ian said he drove around the Highlands area to search for deer as well as to take pictures of the peaceful Loch Ness.

But until he returned home, he discovered the important thing he captured through the camera lens.

"Loch Ness Monster" stands for the lake.

Ian's picture shows a very long silver creature, at least 2 meters long, swimming in the lake with raised heads and tails hitting the water.

Only rising to the surface to breathe, the animal radiates in the sunlight, causing strong ripples on the lake surface.

The photo was taken near the shore of Loch Ness on Saturday afternoon last week.

Amateur photographer said: "This is the first time I saw Nessie (the name of the monster). It would be great if I was the first to find it."

He admitted that he had been skeptical of Nessie's existence before, but things have changed.
