The Russian Soyuz spacecraft landed on Earth, the 33-year-old female astronaut made history

The Soyuz MS-24 spacecraft carried Russian cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, NASA astronaut Loral O'Hara and Belarusian cosmonaut Marina Vasilevskaya.

On April 6, the Russian Soyuz MS-24 spacecraft from the International Space Station (ISS) returned to Earth, landing safely in Kazakhstan with Russian astronauts Oleg Novitsky, American Loral O'Hara and Belarus Marina Vasilevskaya.

According to RT, the Soyuz MS-24 spacecraft left the ISS station at 6:54 am on April 6 (Moscow time). During landing, the Soyuz MS-24's compartments are designed to separate, with one compartment carrying the crew.

Rescuers arrived to help the astronauts escape.

Ms. Marina Vasilevskaya made history when she became the first Belarusian astronaut to fly into space since the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991 .

On BelTA News Agency, Marina Vasilevskaya (33 years old) is described as a beautiful astronaut. She once shared " feeling proud to have the opportunity to become the first Belarusian woman to work in space".

Ms. Vasilevskaya - formerly a flight attendant for Belarusian airline Belavia - spent 12 days on the ISS. During that time, she performed many scientific experiments.

Vasilevskaya was selected from more than 3,000 applicants after many rigorous tests. She underwent training at a special center in Russia's Zvyozdny Gorodok (Star City), starting last summer.

"I am overwhelmed with emotions. It is unbelievable. I wish everyone on Earth to appreciate what they have because they are precious. I thank all the people of Belarus. We want to stay longer on the ISS, but it's great to be back," Ms. Vasilevskaya shared right after being taken out of the Soyuz ship.

According to Tass News Agency, NASA astronaut Loral O'Hara arrived at the ISS in September 2023 on the Soyuz MS-24 spacecraft, and astronauts Novitsky and Vasilevskaya arrived at the ISS on March 25 this year on the Soyuz spacecraft. MS-25.
