American scientists encountered both glass-bottomed marine foams at depths of more than 2,000 meters.

Scientists at the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) discovered an incredible seabed while conducting a deep-water survey of the Johnston atoll in the Thai region. Binh Duong from July, according to Lad Bible.

While studying a mid-ocean ridge at a depth of about 2,360m, the team found a "mystical forest" of unique glass sponges .

" Every time we make dive trips to the sea, we think this is an experience like finding life on another planet," said one member of the research team.

Glass sponge has a hard skeleton made of silica (SiO 2 ), a material used to make glass. This helps them avoid the attack of other predators. Glass sponges eat bacteria and plankton in the water.
