A Chinese designer has just released a unique idea of high-speed trains, never having to stop running when picking up and dropping off at the subway.

According to designer Chen Jianjun, instead of waiting in the platform and boarding the narrow doors of the coaches, passengers will wait in a special cocoon-shaped cabin above the rails. When the trains run through the station, the cocoon cabins will paddle with the ropes and passengers will take the stairs down to the lower carriages.

The cabin will then move toward the stern so that those who want to descend at the next point go up to the waiting cabin. When the train approaches the next station, the cabin will separate and stop at the top of the tracks, while a new cabin arrives at the station to be joined to the train.

In the video demonstrating the operation of the train, Chen explained, only 30 trains stop in the Beijing-Guangzhou route. If each stop takes only about 5 minutes to pay and welcome guests, the trip has also extended for 2.5 hours. Therefore, the new high-speed train is designed to save energy, fuel and time when not stop picking up and dropping passengers and restarting at the station.
