In particular, due to the effects of Typhoon Haima, a strong tornado swept across two communes of An Lu and Trung Ha (Thuy Nguyen) at dusk. Trees and electric poles are broken everywhere. All two communes lost power.

Nguyen Thi Tuoi (An Lu commune), a pregnant woman who was about to give birth, was killed by a fallen tree. About 80 others were injured, of which 40 were seriously injured and were hospitalized to an emergency.

On the evening of June 23, the leaders of Hai Phong city as well as Thuy Nguyen district were present at the place of the disaster, and directed to temporarily overcome the consequences of the tornado.
