Strange light trails, thought to be from an unidentified flying object (UFO), appear in the sky in China's northwest region, raising doubts about the existence of aliens.

People in Shaanxi Province, the Ningxia and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, said on May 23 that they witnessed objects flying in the night sky and posted photos on websites.

" It is seen very clearly in the sky and many people have stopped all activities to observe, because it is very unusual," recalled a witness named Hu Yin.

A military expert said that the light source could be made by humans and not a natural phenomenon. Meanwhile, many social network users in these regions believe this is a new type of spacecraft , or missiles tested by the Chinese government.

However, there is an opinion that the trail of light stemmed from the exercises conducted by the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) in the Ohai region, between the Gobi desert and the Ordos.
