Use a light bulb to remove the tumor
Israeli scientists say they can use light gathered from a kind of super-bright incandescent light to destroy cancerous tissues. They hope this technique could be a substitute for laser surgery with laser surgery.

Experts at the University of Ben-Gurion (Israel) use a special optical system to bring light from a super-bright incandescent light into a very intense light. Then, they shone that light on healthy tissues taken from the rat's body. The results showed that the tissue was completely burned.
" This is the first time we have managed to destroy tissue without using laser beams ," said Jeffrey Gordon, lead researcher.
Gordon said that tests using light from incandescent bulbs to burn cancerous tissue will be conducted in animals larger than mice. They hope that it can be tested on humans in a few years.
Laser devices used in cancer tissue surgery usually cost up to $ 100,000. Gordon confirmed that the incandescent light system developed by his team was very low, about $ 1,000.
The work of Jeffrey Gordon and colleagues is published in Biomedical Optics in Israel.
