Why the more cheap the drink, the worse the drunkenness?

Anyway, it is just alcohol, but why is it cheap to drink cheaply compared to expensive and quality wines?

Anyway, it is just alcohol, but why is it cheap to drink cheaply compared to expensive and quality wines?

Choosing cheap wine can save a lot of costs. But do you know that low quality alcohol can make your drunkenness last longer and more terrible? And why is that?

Alcohol derivatives in alcohol

One of the reasons cheap alcohol makes you feel horribly sick is because of the amount of alcohol derivatives contained in it.

It is clear that the alcohol we drink on a daily basis is not pure alcohol. On the packaging of each bottle, there is usually a symbol of alcohol content. For example, vodka is labeled 40% on the label, meaning that 40% of the wine is made up of ethanol.

Alcohol we still drink on a daily basis is not pure alcohol.

However, the brewing process can also produce other alcohol derivatives such as methanol. The higher the concentration of methanol, the more likely the alcohol to be like the poison, causing a terrible disorder in the body.

And as you might expect, the cheaper the alcohol, the greater the risk of methanol, and the worse your drunkenness will be. And to a certain level, methanol can even kill people - the ones you often hear.

Impurities

One of the byproducts of the fermentation process of alcohol fermentation is junk oil , also known as trash oil . This is a mixture of different types of alcohol produced during fermentation.

There are many types of trash oils, including high-grade alcohols - known to have a chemical composition of more than two carbon atoms and therefore have higher boiling and weight temperatures.

The problem here is that our bodies are unable to handle these high-grade alcohol. So the feeling of hangover, dizziness is born as a natural reaction when the body processes toxins.

Cheap alcohol often contains lots of impurities so it is not difficult to understand when they make your body become tired and uncomfortable.

Purity

To separate alcohol from the water, distillation is used - which is done by increasing the temperature of the mixture to below the boiling point of water but above the boiling temperature of the alcohol. After that, alcohol will be collected from the boiling process and condensed, forming pure alcohol.

Interestingly, the distillation of alcohol is often repeated several times to ensure that the wine obtained reaches maximum purity. While high-end wines often go through this process many times, cheap alcohol is likely to be distilled only about 1, 2 times.

So if you feel your drunkenness lasts long; accompanied by a feeling of dizziness, more discomfort than normal, it is highly likely that you have consumed poor quality alcohol products, not carefully distilled.

But whether alcohol is cheap or expensive .

Remember, when absorbing a large amount of alcoholic drinks, either high or low, it will lead to prolonged unpleasant sensations. The root cause of this phenomenon is the loss of water in the body.

The feeling of hangover will come as a reaction of the brain with dehydration.

Alcohol is a diuretic drink. When the body releases more water than usual, of course your internal organs will become dehydrated.

To maintain normal activity, they will try to collect water from other parts of the body, including the amount of water used to supply the brain.

Therefore, the feeling of hangover will come as a reaction of the brain to this loss of water.
