21 vulnerabilities in Mozilla products

The open source software organization has warned of a series of problems in Firefox, the browser has just surpassed the 10% market share, and some related products. The most serious error can create a chance for hackers to inject malicious code into the system.

The open source software organization has warned of a series of problems in Firefox, the browser has just surpassed the 10% market share, and some related products. The most serious error can create a chance for hackers to inject malicious code into the system.

Other major problems will be exploited by hackers to attack phishing or steal sensitive information on a Firefox computer.

Mozilla products fail when users set security rules in JavaScript. The problem also occurs when the CSS operation program (Cascading Style Sheet) and open the way for hackers to handle fake code on the computer. US CERT Security Center described these vulnerabilities in detail, while Secunia also listed 21 of these errors.

Mozilla recommends that users upgrade to Firefox 1.5.0.2, Thunderbird 1.5.0.2 and SeaMonkey 1.0.1 soon to prevent system attacks online.
