Smart phone users can watch broadband television and take high-resolution photos with a handheld device in 2007. This is thanks to the newly introduced processor and memory card at the Association. World Conference on 3GSM in Barcelona on 12/2.

Along with the price cuts, these chips will make many smart phones from just for wealthy merchants become items of middle-income customers.

SanDisk iNAND memory card stores 8 G data

The camera-capable phone will use a high-resolution sensor from Micron Technology. New MT9 series sensors with a design of 1.75 micro pixels, resolution up to 5 megapixels. MT9 P012 can record video at 60 frames per second.

OmniVision Technology has also announced a 5.17 megapixel camera module for mobile devices, using the CameraChip OV5623 sensor. This sensor will help to capture high resolution movies when inserted into handheld devices.

In order to store a large number of photos, SanDisk has announced that it has developed a new large capacity version with an iNAND name attached to the flash drive, which can store 8G of data. These new drives are compatible with the Joint Electron Device Engineering (JEDEC) standard, allowing designers to use them to meet storage needs for mobile TV, multimedia downloads, digital music as well as GPS global positioning system.

Also allowing mobile TV support, Qualcomm Inc said its UBM (Universal Broadcast Modem) chip will also be available for mobile TV. Each UBM chip can meet 3 technology standards: FLO technology, DVB-H and ISDB-T standard.
