DNS can do 'slow' broadband service

A report by Nominum, a company that sells software for DNS systems, has issued recommendations to ISPs that they should quickly upgrade DNS capabilities to ensure Sure, their customers can get all the services and utilities of a high-speed Internet connection.

The recommendation was made by Paul Mockapetris, president and head of research science at Nomunum. He said that DNS is like a Internet directory.
