Security is so important, Intel has decided to integrate security technology into its latest microprocessor: Conroe.

In an effort to help computer manufacturers get products with the highest performance with Conroe, Intel will pack security technology into the processor.

Called Averill, the technology will be distributed only to computer manufacturers, such as Dell and HP. This technology package will include technologies such as Virtualization Tech, which will improve the efficiency of hard-disk resource utilization, flexible management technology (Active Management) to support effectively Enterprise network management, integrated directly into the finished CPU.

When these technologies work together, it allows the system's power to be greatly enhanced compared to buying each component to install a single computer with the single Conroe VXL. Businesses who buy 'machines', in addition to saving electricity, also enjoy better security tools and management functions.

Conroe is a member of Intel's 65-nm dual-core family. The company has introduced it to the Merom and Woodcrest VXL in March.

The hardening of supporting technologies is Intel's new policy to be able to regain its market share, especially for the enterprise system. If the hardening technology demonstrates its performance, from now on, between assembly and machine computers, understanding the Vietnamese way, will begin to be difficult to distinguish.
