Fusion-io unveiled a 640GB SSD Flash hard drive with fast data read and write speed thanks to the application of PCI-Express x4 connection technology instead of using cable as traditional hard drives .
The manufacturer said the write speed of ioDATA hard drives is up to 600MB / sec and data read speed is 800MB / sec. This speed of operation can be said to increase the speed of operation as well as start up the system application many times.
Also ioDATA doesn't have any moving parts like traditional hard drives. This feature has contributed to prolonging usage time and reducing the risk of failure.
ioDATA fully supports Red Hat Linux OS AS4.0, Windows XP and Windows XP. However, the price of this super-fast hard drive is not cheap at all. It sells for $ 19,000.
It is expected that in the morning, Fusion-io will launch new versions with capacity of 80GB, 160GB and 320GB.
