Scientists at the University of California (USA) divided the experimental mice into two groups. Both groups were fed corn syrup, a liquid fructose form 6 times sweeter than cane sugar, for 6 weeks. However, the second group was supplemented with Omga 3 fatty acids.
After six weeks, the scientists found that the activity of brain synapses in mice in the first group was markedly reduced, making them unable to remember the path while the brains of mice were in the group. still works well.

The US Department of Agriculture said that an average American consumes nearly 15kg of fructose sugar syrup per year.
