Microsoft bit Live Messenger vulnerability
Microsoft has released an update to block
Microsoft has released an update to block 'deadly' security vulnerabilities in the instant messaging application MSN Messenger and Windows Live.
If you successfully exploit these security flaws, hackers can completely take control of the entire PC with errors, which can take advantage of this PC to organize attacks against other users.
However, hackers must trick users into accepting their invitation to view webcam images to be able to attack them. But the last time the explosion of malicious code attacks via instant messaging has made users much more careful. Hackers will be hard to deceive them anymore.
The update for the instant messaging application is part of a new September update that was released by the world's number one software company yesterday (September 11).
In total this month Microsoft released 4 major updates. Among these, there is also an update that is also classified as extremely dangerous. It is an update for Windows 2000 operating system version.
Mark Griesi, a Microsoft product security manager, said that in order to attack Windows 2000 users, hackers must trick them into accessing a malicious website with an exploit code available. If successful, they will gain control of executing malicious code on the system that makes the mistake.
The remaining two updates target security issues in applications for software developers and enterprise computer system administration applications.
Microsoft recommends that users should quickly download and install the necessary updates to avoid the risk of becoming a victim of hackers.
