Microsoft tested the Wi-Fi connection tool
On August 23, Microsoft began sending invitations to testers (testers) to register the project to test the company's latest Wi-Fi connectivity tool.
The new Microsoft tool will help users find, register and use public Wi-Fi hotspots in a better way.
The new project is named " Wi-Fi Windows Live Connection Center ", divided into two parts: applications and Web components. The application section will automatically detect and support connection to existing wireless networks within range. This client tool also provides additional security features and integrated hotspot database.
The Web interface will be used to find Wi-Fi networks, which can be searched by city, state and area code. Microsoft said it will integrate the hotspot locator into Windows Live Local to help find physical locations on the map and the direction of travel.
