Panda breeding calves were born in America

A rare calf with many panda-like characteristics was born on a farm in Colorado, USA.

The male calf named Ben was born on Friday last week at Mr. Chris Jessen's farm in Larimer district in the state of Colorado. His mother was a lowline Angus cow, and his father was a Donovan cow, which belonged to the ' panda cow ' at the farm.

Ben has a white stripe in the back half and his face is white but there are dark spots around the eyes, making it look like a panda.

This is the second panda calf born at Mr. Jessen's farm. The world currently has only 24 children belonging to ' panda cow '.

' Cow raccoon ' is the result of a gene transplant technique performed by Richard Gradwohl, a farmer in Covington, Washington, for 44 years. Gradwohl used 8 different small breeds of cows to produce a new breed - ' panda cow '.

Mr. Jessen said that 'panda panda' is about 1.1m tall and weighs 453kg when growing up.

'Panda cows ' are often bred for pets. Mr. Jessen said they were very expensive, up to $ 30,000 each.

Mr. Jessen intends to train Ben so that the calf becomes friendly with humans before selling it at about 6 months old.
