Microsoft has just released an additional software tool for Windows XP - Private Folder 1.0, allowing users to create their own "secret" folders.
Microsoft Private Folder 1.10 allows users to create a "My Private Folder" folder with their own password to store personal information.
Microsoft Private Folder 1.10 is compatible with Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Pro or Windows Media Center Edition versions. However, in order to download this software, you must go through a check of the legality of the operating system controlled by Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA).
Evaluating this tool, Microsoft thinks this is a really useful tool for users to store personal data when they have to share a personal computer with others.
